SPEAKER & TOPIC : HERPING in AUSTRALIA is the topic as Bill Love presents a PowerPoint slideshow on his recent trip to the land down under.  Bill was invited to be a ‘guest speaker from afar’ at the 4th Australian Frog & Reptile Show in Sydney in early May 2009.  If you’ve ever wondered what a herp show in Oz is like, you’ll get to see it from every angle tonight!  After the show, Bill visited Western Australia for the first time and drove the length of its west coast seeking wild herps and herp exhibits with friends.  Between the wild critters he encountered, and the great array of captives on display at various reptile parks and in private collections on both coasts, it was spectacular trip!  C’mon out and enjoy a relaxing, photo-filled travelogue of Australia tonight!

WHO'S INVITED ? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 35 – 70 people attending every meeting.

Cookies and cold soda, a nightly raffle of live herps, herp products, and books follow each speaker's talk, and lots of herp camaraderie, gossip, and fun can be counted upon at all meetings !
