The Calusa Herpetological Society
Of Southwest Florida

Thursday, August 1, 20197:00 pm

SPEAKER & TOPIC: This month's speaker is Brett Bartek. Brett is a Florida native and ecologist with a local environmental consulting firm. Brett's talk will be on his adventures "doon unda" in the Australian outback radio tracking the country's largest monitor lizard - the perentie. Brett will outline the study he was involved with and provide interesting facts on this impressive species. Come out and enjoy the talk!

Don't forget that we go out to eat after the meeting to talk more about herps at Texas Roadhouse on Six-Mile Cypress Rd, just south of Colonial Blvd (near the Lowes).

  See you there!

WHO'S INVITED ? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 15 – 35 people attending every meeting.

Cookies and cold soda, a nightly raffle of live herps, herp products, and books follow each speaker's talk, and lots of herp camaraderie, gossip, and fun can be counted upon at all meetings !
