herpetological world is coming from Miami tonight – ‘Crocodile’
Joe
Wasilewski.
Joe is renowned for studying American crocs over the past decade at the
Turkey Point nuclear power plant south of Miami.
His horizons have broadened greatly the last few years -
numerous trips have taken him across our planet’s tropical regions
participating in various study groups that monitor crocodilians.
Joe ranks as one the world’s experts in this specialty.
You’ve seen him on TV in the past.
Now come to hear Joe, one of the most lively herpers in existence, speak
in person! His
PowerPoint presentation tonight will take us on a photo tour of the plight of
Crocodilians
of the World.
WHO'S INVITED ? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 35 – 70 people attending every meeting.
Cookies and cold soda, a nightly raffle of live herps, herp products, and books follow each speaker's talk, and lots of herp camaraderie, gossip, and fun can be counted upon at all meetings !
