Tonight's speaker is Curt Harbsmeier. His program will focus on crocodilians and their regulation through CITES, the ESA, the Lacey Act, state regs in Florida, and local statutes and ordinances. We will discuss the legal requirements and physical needs for captive maintenance, purchase and sale, and transport of crocodilians.
Curt Harbsmeier is an attorney in central Florida with a lifelong passion for wildlife and conservation. He has worked with captive crocodilians and other herps for over 30 years.
